I’m Stephen A. Hart.

I had already built a million-dollar life once. The next time, I wanted to build a meaningful one.

I was made in Jamaica and came of age in the United States. Years ago, I built a business and reached the financial success I had been chasing. Then it collapsed, right around the beginning of my marriage.

That loss showed me how much of my identity I had tied to money. Rebuilding changed my definition of a life worth living.

I rebuilt through a career in branding, content, and marketing that now spans more than two decades. At SANS Institute, I became Director of Content Marketing, helped lead a global marketing department of 75 people, and helped lead the sans.org website rebrand.

While I was still employed, I began building consulting income. American University was my first proof that what I knew had value outside my job.

In December 2024, I left corporate leadership to build my own company. I gained more control over my time, more time with my kids, and room to care for a parent who needed me. My first paid engagement after I left was a four-hour workshop for Akamai’s marketing team.

I’m still building, one successful step at a time.
