  • How we lead is the linchpin to successfully realizing our goals and dreams.
  • Deep-end leadership is when you decide to stop wallowing in the shallow-end of your life and begin to challenge yourself to go deeper.
  • You’ve done some great things splashing around in shallow-end leadership, but you’re called to go into the deep end.
  • You will not increase your influence as a leader, or realize your God-given dreams or potential, if you stay in the shallow end of your life.
  • The risks and challenges are in the deep end.  You have to wade, and most times, dive into the deep end.
  • The 7 C’s of deep-end leadership:  Calling, Courage, Completion, Credibility, Collaboration, Change and Coaching.
  • Deep-end leaders know that they have a particular calling on their lives and their primary job in life is to discover their unique purpose and mission.
  • If money was not a factor, how would you live your life?  What would you do for free, just because you feel that you were created to do that?
  • There is something you can do that no one else can do in quite the same way.
  • You have to find out what you don’t like sometimes, in order to find out what you do like.
  • Looking for your courage?  Ask yourself this, “What would you do, if you were 10 times bolder?”
  • You can have a great calling, but if you don’t have courage to take the first step, that calling won’t mean anything.
  • Begin with the end in mind.  Deep-end leaders are always asking, “What does success look like?”
  • Dreamwork takes teamwork.  Wherever you are going in life, you cannot get there alone.
  • Life and business is like a boomerang:  What you put out there comes back to you.
  • Deep-end leaders are engaged in a constant process of building their credibility and character.
  • Success breeds adversity.
  • Pro-activity and push back are two sides of the same coin.
  • There are some things inside of us that we will never get out alone or produce, if we don’t get vulnerable enough and ask for help.
  • Deep-end waters is where your sunken treasures are.
